Gibraltar Mine – Grinding/Flotation/Tailings Buildings

This Gibraltar Mine’s phase 3 expansion includes a new processing plant. LoadPath worked through a detailed design phase, collaborating closely with Ausenco Engineering to complete this very large project through the winter and have the building complex ready for Spring 2012. Total constructed works by LoadPath exceeded $20 Million and included conventional structural steel in various interior portions of the project.
Teck Quintette Mine – Truck Shop

Eight bay truck shop with wash bay and maintenance shop. Design-build turn-key. IDL Projects is the project General Contractor, with LoadPath providing design, supply and install of the steel structures. (In progress)
Wolverine Mine – Yukon Zinc Company
Mining
Acting in a key alliance partnership with Yukon Zinc Corporation, Garco Buildings Systems invited LoadPath, with its partner Still Creek Engineering, to provide assistance with engineering, detailed design and procurement of the many required building components. The assignment included 3 heavy industrial structures: a 60,000 sq. ft. Mill Building supporting 25, 10 and 5 tonne bridge cranes; a 25,000 sq. ft. Concentrate Loadout Building and a 6,000 sq. ft. Crusher Building with 5 tonne crane. Wardrop Engineering was the project prime consultant.
Copper Mountain Mine – Concentrator Building

This 120,000 sq. ft. mine production building was completed in 2010 and supports 50/10 tonne and 15 tonne bridge cranes. LoadPath partnered with Garco Buildings on this project to design, supply and erect this heavy industrial building structure. LoadPath worked under the direction of Merit Consultants and Hatch Engineers, who were the prime consultants responsible for the construction of the Copper Mountain Mine project.

Gibraltar Mine – Moly Filtration Building

This 16,000 sq. ft. structure will enclose the mine’s expanded moly filtration process. Designed and fabricated summer 2011, the building structure was substantially completed in November 2011. LoadPath worked under Ausenco Engineering to complete the project.
Copper Mountain Mine – Truck Shop Building

Similco Mines, Copper Mountain project is one of BC’s newest mines. This 20,000 sq. ft. mine production building supports a 50 tonne bridge crane. Completed in 2010, this building provides maintenance facilities for the mine haul trucks and other equipment. LoadPath partnered with Garco Buildings on this project to design, supply and erect this heavy industrial building structure. LoadPath worked under the direction of Merit Consultants and Hatch Engineers, who were the prime consultants responsible for the construction of the Copper Mountain Mine project.

The cladding, high speed rubber door and other materials to enclose this structure were provided to Gibraltar mine in 2009. LoadPath worked under Hatch consultants to complete the supply of these materials.
