Tla-o-qui-aht First Nation, Canoe Creek, Run-of-River Generation Building

LoadPath’s assignment on this project was to provide a powerhouse structure that could be combined with natural wood siding to fit into the site. Completed for the Barkley Project Group, this building houses a 5.5MW turbine generator. It included removable roof paneling and a small column mounted jib crane for use in future plant servicing. LoadPath is pleased to have been part of this very green and socially responsible project.
BC Hydro Instrument Shack

Canfor Pulp and Paper – Water Treatment Building

Working under Franzen Engineering, LoadPath completed design work for project construction during winter 2011/12. The building houses a new boiler water treatment plant. The building contains numerous water treatment tanks and piping to clean and process water for use in the mill recovery boiler. Part of LoadPath’s scope was a hot dipped galvanized structure tied into our building columns and supporting a 50,000lb Electrical Control Booth.
